The third-largest FMCG company is looking to transform the organization and truly build a culture of content, and part of the plan to achieve that is to do it via in-house creative content studios in their core markets. Each studio will have an initial team of approximately five members and will be responsible for managing, creating and executing world-class digital content for their market.

As true change agents, you will work closely with the client’s marketing, the regulatory and data teams, across all brands, to help them think and make digital content that delivers results and is consistent with the brand promise.

Responsibilities

 

  • The Director of Operations oversees the creative content studio, is responsible for the planning and execution of the strategy that will drive high engagement for the client. They are the first point of contact for all client escalations. Main responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Main point of contact for the local client (at all levels)

  • Team management

  • Budget management and financial responsibility for the P&L of the content studio

  • Ability to partner with the creative lead and senior global management to get the best performance from staff

  • Ensure the studio operates within the companies mission statement and business model

  • Review working practices to ascertain if it is successful and if not, devise alternatives

  • Ensuring employees are motivated and organising appropriate training where required

  • Driving the business to increase workflow and profits

  • Work with HR and finance for any legal matters that may occur

  • Aiding the Creative Lead when required in translating client briefs into executional plans. This may include challenging the brief to ensure it is inspiring and clear on requirements

  • Prioritising projects for multiple brands and clients, in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

  • Managing timing plans and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Investigating client satisfaction and reporting any issues

  • Managing the distribution of content across all channels, working with internal and external partners (e.g. Media agencies)

  • Ensuring content is on brief, of high quality, and compliant with local requirements

  • Scheduling and organising kick-off meetings, creative presentations, pre-production meetings (including travel logistics where required)

  • Oversee and manage aspects of photo and video shoots

  • Selecting and assigning the best resources for each project and inspire them to deliver the best outcome

  • Building the right teams of talent, based on the nature of the brief, working closely with the Global Operations Team, and our other content studios

  • Leading internal agency and client meetings

Requirements

  • A strong background leading the execution of best in class digital content, within an agency or client studio (Director level)

  • Expert understanding of digital marketing, strategy, social media, e-commerce and paid advertising (SEO & SEM)

  • Passion for exceptional creative work

  • Best in class client relationships skills

  • A proven track record in managing, leading and mentoring small and large teams

  • Hands-on approach, can-do attitude and ready to roll-up their sleeves to get results

  • Excellent organisation and prioritization skills

  • Very high standards and an eye for detail

  • Experience in managing large budgets

  • Strong communication skills – able to write clear presentations and articulate their message

  • Ability to partner strategically with the client for the best interest of the brands at all times

  • Professional manner – being aware at all times that this role is based at the client site
